Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using coppflow (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

coppflow is a macOS menu bar application that captures audio when triggered and transcribes it on your device. Optional AI cleanup sends the resulting transcript to our servers for polishing and requires an internet connection. Raw on-device transcription works offline and is available on the free tier.

3. Licences

Pro access is unlocked with a licence key tied to your machine. You are responsible for keeping your licence key confidential and for any activity under it. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Pro plans are billed monthly or annually via Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Pricing is shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your Lemon Squeezy customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Refunds

We offer a 14-day refund on first-time Pro purchases, no questions asked. Email support@coppflow.com from the address used at checkout to request one. Lemon Squeezy may also grant refunds outside this window per their own policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to record people without their consent where consent is required by law;
• Reverse engineer, resell, or sublicense the Service;
• Submit content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful;
• Attempt to disrupt or overload the Service.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of audio you record and transcripts produced. You grant us a limited licence to process this content solely to provide the Service. We do not use your content to train AI models.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is.” Transcription and polishing are powered by third-party AI models and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or revoke licences that violate these Terms. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be communicated by email or through the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the new Terms.
